N-TV ran a political poll, and the results are.....the SPD (who won the September election of 2021) have fallen to a 18-percent point with the public.
Ahead of them? At the top? The CDU at 27-percent, and in second place.....the Greens at 24-percent.
What's going on? The SPD lingered around for a couple of years at marginal numbers (16-percent). Only when the CDU went to the weakest candidate for Chancellor possible.....did the fortunes of the SPD rise....bringing them up to 27-percent at the point of the last federal election.
Does this really change much of anything? No.....not unless you had some dramatic change where the coalition failed, and a new sudden election had to occur.
The FDP (part of the coalition) also losing public support? Yeah.....down to 7-percent (instead of 14-percent where they were at the election time).
Gainers in all of this business? The CDU and Greens.
