1. Did a German comedian get dumped off a German train for a Covid mask violation?
Yeah. Mario Barth (I consider to be one of the top five German comedians in the country).
This was onboard a ICE (high-speed rail). He saw some humor in it.....the Bahn folks weren't laughing.
2. Were there pro-Russia demonstrations yesterday in Germany?
Yes. The one in Frankfurt probably drew around 2,000 people (the cops say this number).
If you asked me about pro-Russia feelings in Germany....it's just not that many. Some journalists even made the comment that most of these people were on the anti-Covid demonstrations in the past.
3. French election set for the next stage, with Macron and Le Pen?
Yes, and it'll likely be a repeat of the last election Macron likely carries 60-percent of the vote.....if the polling is correct.
4. Russian soldiers in the Chernobyl area.....taking at least 130 highly radioactive 'souvenirs'?
Well....there was an inventory done (so says N-TV this AM), and various containers/storage units....were broken into. The belief is....a number of the Russian conscripts (probably NOT the bright guys) wanted war souvenirs.
My humble guess? They took the items back to the tent or truck and spread the radiation around to other members of their group.
I'm not going to say they are dead....but they probably a pretty hefty dose of radiation, and will need some treatment (don't go expecting the Army to help you). In the end, you might see a hundred folks affected by this stupidity. But it drives home my belief....a lot of the conscripts are just marginally intelligent.
5. Covid leading back around to potential diabetes?
Well....N-TV had a health update, and this research was discussed.
Research shows that people who are Covid-infected have a higher chance of developing diabetes two.....than non-Covid-infected people.
Some doctors are using the word 'legacy' to discuss the matter....what Covid leaves you after a bout.
However....one curious part of the data used (noticed apparently).....a fair number of the people in this data collection....were older white males, who already had blood pressure/weight issues. So before you get excited....this might be worth more investigation.
6. German guy getting 87 Covid vaccinations?
Yes.
N-Tv covered this in the AM today. He was 'gifted' (paid) by various people to take shot-records and get the shot for them. So he's been injected, as far as the officials can see.....87 times in the past year.
I don't think he'll be charged with anything, but the 87 'other' folks.....might be.
