The Thing About Color

There's something that impressed me on my recent trip (through Brisbane).  You are starting to see more and more uses of different colors of accent structures and buildings.  It used to be plain white.  Now?  No limit.

This is a bridge that you'd cross into mid-town Brisbane.

Extra cost?  I doubt it.  It's the kind of thing that you'd stand and admire for a while.

It is beautiful...and we could all use more of that. I was talking with a friend just this morning about how many of the buildings in Surigao City, Philippines are painted bright colors.
With the advent of high power LED lights (etc) and lower costs in both production and power consumption, I think we will see a lot more of this.
Works for me.
