Well....tonight, they've started talking what happened in this morning's meeting with the sixteen Minister-Presidents (of the states) and the Chancellor.
What occurred?
1. Any possibility of the federal government controlling schools? Dumped. Various states told Merkel that they wouldn't allow this action to occur, period.
2. The federal government directed the states to have a plan over vaccination. There's supposed to be a daily listing of shots (when this starts) accomplished....from each district center, onto the state, and onto the Berlin crowd.
3. The shot centers must be open and ready to go on 15 December....even if they don't have the vaccine.
4. The federal government will provide masks to fragile health folks....free of charge, from a batch of FFP-2 masks they have (discontinued from hospital use apparently).
5. The federal government RECOMMENDS you quarantine at home, if you have a cold or cold-like symptoms (five to seven days). Yes, even with a cold....you now quarantine.
6. Federal rule, you can only have guests in your house from one other house (max of 2 folks).
7. Kid/teenagers are told they should only have one 'special' friend, who they frequent. This was more of a recommendation, and kids will laugh over this and invent some type of word for the Merkel-friend rule.
8. The medical technicians at the vaccination centers are directed to accomplish 96 shots per day....allotting 15 minutes max to each person.
-- The idea that you'd have 300 folks lined up and some military team of four guys getting them done in 90 minutes? Forget about this. People are going to ask questions, and there will probably still be from 4,000 each day....at least 500 standing there at 8 PM....still waiting for their shot. All the more reason to avoid the line business until 75-percent of the population have accomplished their vaccination.
