Pondering Over Vaccinations

My German wife and I got into a discussion last night over the Covid-19 vaccination business.  This week, the authorities laid out the basic plan on how this would work, and the anticipation is that in about 6-to-8 weeks....delivery will start to occur here in Germany.

The basic concept of the government plan is that one single 'point' will exist in each district.  My district is the city of Wiesbaden.  So in the next month, I kinda expect the health authorities to ID some location.

So there are various questions laid out.

The master-plan says 4k people per day will be vaccinated.  Beyond that....nothing factual exists.

Will one get a note or reservation time?  Unknown.

Will this be at a location with major parking?  It is conceivable that these idiots would pick a location in the center of town, that has no public parking.

Will you be given a time-slot of 2 hours, and just stand there in bitter cold.....waiting to move up and get your shot?

Will extra precautions occur to prevent you from getting Covid-19 while standing in line?

Hanging around an area where 4,000 folks will be all day....what are your odds of getting Covid-19 from one of the 'waiters'?

Is there anyplace in town that has adequate space for parking and waiting for this type of situation?  Well....just the local RMCC facility (the warehouse type building for public shows).  There's probably 1,500 parking spots underneath the facility, and it's rarely if ever used.

Is there ample reason to skip the first 90-percent of vaccinations?  Well....the more you think about how screwed up this could be....the higher it feels to be near the end of this mess.
