Kid With a Threat

It's an insolated thing at one single school....in Berlin, but it's something that draws attention and begs questions.  N-TV told this brief item in the late day.

So the school came up and had these issues with a Muslim kid in the school (11 years old).  The school wanted to talk to his parents (no one says what the topic was about, and that might be interesting to know).

Then the school official said there would be 'sanctions' (meaning for the most part that he'd be suspended from the school), if the parents didn't come.

Then the 11-year old kid responded....if he got sanctions because the parents didn't come...then he'd do the same as the kid in France did with that teacher (meaning the teacher that was beheaded).

Almost immediately the school administrator got involved, and youth services.   They won't put up with threats like this.

Not a lot was said after that involvement....I'm guessing the kid was invited to spend a few days at home and his parents got a visit from the Socialamt folks.

That's the thing about these violent threats now made in schools.....no one takes it as a joke anymore. You could very well end up in some special program and be treated as a problem-child.
