Covid Scheme?

The local cops in my region (Wiesbaden) came out with a warning today....of a new scheme being run on people.

So here in Germany, the health authorities can alert you/call you/etc....to say you were in the area where a break-out of Covid-19 occurred. 

The example would be....you hang out with a local Yoga-group, or with some musical club.  This guy arrives at your door, with a badge of some type and says he's from the health department.  He then says that you are NOW under quarantine.  Then he says....he has to carry out an inspection of apartment/home.

Naturally, you think he's legit, but never question why an inspection is required.  Ten minutes later....he's done.  Five minutes later, you discover the 300-Euro that was in your purse is gone, and your 250-Euro watch is missing.

The reality here?  No matter who comes to your door....anyone claiming to be some local health department task force or team....is fake.  No one does in-home inspections or audits.  The bigger reason for this?  There's not a city in Germany that has the manpower to achieve this in the first place.

So unless your warning App on your phone turns Red....meaning you need to take the Covid-test, or your took the test because of symptoms....that's the only time to take the call serious.
