I noticed yesterday (EuroNews) that medical experts came out and said that roughly 20-percent of all people who tested positive on Covid-19....had 'mental issues'.
In my mind....I was thinking it triggered some kind of change. But then you read into this whole deal.
What these people are talking about...insomnia, depression, and anxiety. In simple terms....the test result (positive) started up worry.
People are now reacting in some way....as if this were a cancer test, and you got potential death in your 'deck of cards' now.
They've watched x-amount of TV news....seen ten different versions of 'Doctor-Doom'...been given a hundred tables of statistical numbers which they really don't understand...seen at least six hours in the past month of people laying in ICU beds and appearing half-dead, and kinda lost track of reality.
In their mind....they will be a death number, or end up on TV themselves in some ICU bed.
So should we be worried about this medical report, and the high number of people with mental issues? If these people were talking to invisible people, acting super-crazy, or resorting to LSD to resolve their worries....then yeah....I'd be worried.
But in this case, we need to simply re-assure people, even in our simple lives...that it's a virus, of which 99.99 of people survive once you get it. Reassurance is the better 'treatment' to issue out.
