Bannon in Europe

"Let them call you racist. Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists.  Wear it as a badge of honor. Because every day, we get stronger and they get weaker.”

-- Steve Bannon to a group of French National Front Party members over the weekend

Over the past two weeks, Bannon has been going around Europe and making a few appearances.  On the whole, I would say that the public news folks (the intellectual crowd) are a bit shocked that Bannon does these appearances and people stand to listen.

Most folks thought that when Bannon left the White House job and Breitbart position....he'd just drift off and not be some nuisance.  Well....they were wrong.

If this had happened in 2016, it would have stirred up a mess in both France and Germany, because of their approaching elections.  At this point?  It might have a strong effect upon the EU election in the summer of 2019.

Over the past decade, the journalists (it didn't matter if we were talking French, British, or German) resorted to the term 'xenophobe' to put some fear onto right-wing activists.  If the general group simply took the attitude that this was a badge of honor....it'd basically disarm the news media and put them into an odd corner.

Eventually, someone might even reach the point of asking if there is an actual phobia existing, when using the term xenophobia.
