For the record (at least in 2020)....Russia is ranked number eleven in the world for TB.
Normally, with decent drugs....this statistic shouldn't really matter. But Russia has a unique problem in that they have a rising occurrence of drug-resistant TB....meaning the various normal drugs have little to no effect on the folks identified.
Because TB is an airborne problem....when you get into tight spaces (like tents, trucks or tanks)....you pass it more easily from one individual to another.

The odds that this military campaign has expanded the current rate? More than likely.
