1. Various Germans states probably will go to encourage schools/universities to consider a 4-day week....lessening heating demands.
2. State by state mandates probably going to a hour-curfew for pub, bar and restaurant closure (just a humble guess of 9 to 10 PM being the standard).
3. Grocery stores being asked to trim their heating down to 17 C (62.5 F).
4. Germans 'stealing' electricity off neighbors to power their heating systems, and then getting caught.
5. Pizza surcharges being added (range of 5 Euro per pizza) to cover increasing electrical costs.
6. States mandating curtailing charging of your E-Car in the hours of 8 AM to 9 PM.
7. Coffee houses adding a 3-Euro 'fee' in the mix, if you intend to drink your coffee within the business area.
8. At least 100,000 Germans packing up in December and spending three months in Turkey at a 5-star resort....while their house is marginally heated, to save money.
