We are over a year away from the next national election....but the virus kinda shifted things, and shocked folks.....this CSU guy from Bavaria....Markus Soder, is now ahead in polling for Chancellor.
ARD did a poll chart.....big story of the day.
Just over 50-percent of the public said that he's the guy for the job....to follow Merkel. Six months ago....Merz had this locked down.
Likely to change over the next year? That's the thing, you can't really predict how things will flip. Heck, no one expected the virus to occur.
