Will Russian Defense Sales Take a 2022/2023 'Hit'?

Well, the video of Javelin anti-tank weapons taking out Russian tanks is not helping on future sales.

If I were a player in the market.....I'd ask a number of questions, and start to speculate that tanks as a major part of any country's defense posture....might not be rated at such a high level.

Before all of this....Russia was the number two weapons exporter in the world.

If you were looking at pure numbers....Russia had around $20-billion made each year off weapon sales.

Presently?  No one says much, and you have to believe that more than half of the 2021 market for Russia has dried up.  All of this effecting the employee situation?  Generally, the number of 12,000 gets uttered a good bit over weapons/equipment manufacture in Russia....I won't vouch for the accuracy.  These people out of work?  No, I'd suggest that internal sales will occur with Russia trying to re-arm itself.  But the idea of other currency arriving?  Don't count on that idea.
