Well, it goes this way. Premier President Soder (of Bavaria, their governor....so to speak)....says a national policy mandating the mask should occur (not the current state-by-state regulation).
Then in this case, if you refused to cooperate....you'd be fined 250 Euro.
Odds of this passing? ZERO.
There's at least three eastern states which will laugh over the suggestion, and stand firm against the idea.
Then you run into the amount. In a working-class neighborhood....if you were going to take 250 Euro away from people.....they'd get pretty angry over the idea.
So it was mostly to get headlines and notice within the newsprint world.
