Loneliness Factor

N-TV (commercial news in Germany) brought up the topic this morning....the serious consequence of loneliness going on in Germany from the virus.

All this distance business, limits on contact, and little public situations on ban rules....is causing a problem among different elements of society, but more so with the older generation of Germany.

The term 'epidemic of loneliness' is quoted here.  You can be living in a major city like Frankfurt or Hamburg, and feel very small and lonely because of the rules.

Telephone counseling service?  Up around 30 percent.

All of this is now affecting mental reasoning.  With the 'dark-season' approaching, and holidays....this will get worse.

Social distancing is the dumbest ideas. Maintain close social ties, but observe 'physical' distancing.

If the mask idea worked, then social distancing would be null and void. Add to it....some people are wearing the same 'paper' mask that they bought four months ago, or wearing a cotton-type mask which hasn't been washed in at least a month. But every time the numbers go up...some group of intellectuals are working on another ban-rule to influence the outcome of passing the virus along. One of them will accidentally one day come up with the idea of fine 'mist' cleanser which must be applied to toilet seat to sanitize it....saying that people at pubs and cafes mostly get Covid-19 via toilet seats.
