Germany and Covid-19: 14 Oct 2020

 1.  Big federal and state meeting going on presently.  Discussions on the accommodations rules (you can't stay in a hotel if you come from a hot-zone city, unless you show a negative test).  Lot of hotels very bitter about the rule.

The extended Christmas holiday for school kids still being discussed.  Several states in favor....several states against it.  They seem to want everyone on the same schedule, and I don't think that will happen.

One single fine nationally is being pushed on people who refuse to wear masks in designated areas.  Currently, it differs state to state.   On this, I don't think the states will come to a mutual agreement.

Lot of hype at this meeting over booze and drinking.  Curfews exist in some major cities presently.  There might be some national policy to come out over booze curfews.

2.  Discussion starting up over new church ban rules?  Lot of negative feelings still left from spring period with the shut-down, and how funerals were held in this period.

3.  Munich had hit the 'hot-zone' status, then eased out.....and reportedly from last night....they are easing back into a 'hot-zone' status.
