Close Early, Drink Early Strategy

I was sitting there yesterday....reading over German social media commentary.  There's a bit of hostility brewing in the Frankfurt region....over the rule that bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants must close by 10 PM (to save humanity, you know).

So this one young German made a clever thought....he admitted his party schedule for Friday and Saturday evenings was to dress up at mid-evening, and actually head out to the party scene in Frankfurt at 10 PM....drinking, partying and casual-chat until 3 AM.

In his mind, this government ban to shut down things means he needs to reset the clock.  His idea was to get off work at 4 PM (Friday), hit the bars/clubs at 5 PM, and party big-time until 10 PM.  Start early, end early.

I sat and thought about it.  If everyone did this, Covid-19....logically....would not decrease on the infection rate (if the government was correct on the true issue).

I would imagine his Saturday schedule would go the same way....start up partying, drinking and casual-chat at 4 PM Saturday afternoon, and drift out at 10 PM as they shut down.

It's a crazy idea, but it'd keep the bars and clubs in business....selling the same amount of beer, and functioning in a normal way.

What would happen in four weeks?  If infections continue?  Well, you'd have to close the bars at 7 PM....logically.  Then?  Well, you'd start your drinking and partying on Saturday around noon, and just continue reacting to the government ban rules.

This is all crazy stuff, but this is how people are starting to think.  It all makes you wonder if the booze and beer were an turbo-passing situation anyway, and that social distancing had no influence.
