A couple of weeks ago....the VW company signed up to a change....currywurst (yeah, the spicy wurst dish)...was to be removed from the company 'chow-hall' (for the assembly crowd).
This has raised a few frustrations.
The catch to this discussion? Well, they wanted to push the vegetarian deal. This week, politicians from the SPD got involved in the chatter....saying that workers ought to have a say in the matter.
Now, from all German dishes, I tend to agree....this currywurst dish is pretty fatty and fifty-percent of the time....you get a cheaply-made dish (it's stuff I'd throw out after four bites).
The slant to this? Some folks are suggesting that the typical working-class German guy simply isn't eating well, and they'd like to broaden his 'situation'. Did they ask the guy? Probably not....but that's the common theme of things today....you need to force change upon folks.
