Is the German Vaccination Rate Reliable?

When the RKI folks and the government report that 55.1-percent of Germany is completely vaccinated....are they correct?

Well....this has been openly discussed.

Focus did an article today and RKI suspects that the 'real' number is higher (they won't say by how much).

One point they bring up.....the Johnson and Johnson 'jab' is strictly one single shot....NOT two.  So there may be some confusion in the data collection.

Based on news reporting since December, there's a certain number of Germans who ventured to Serbia, Russia and Turkey.....to get shots ahead of the 'line'.  Turkey at some point, even rigged up a vacation package where you flew in on day one....got a shot, checked into a up-scale five-star resort, and got the final shot two weeks later as they flew out.

How many fit into this profile?  Unknown.  It might be 2,000 Germans who skipped the normal process.  It might even be 20,000, or even 100,000.

At one point, via Darkweb, you could go and offer up around 150 Euro for a two-shot deal, and individuals 'claimed' that they had access to some type of vaccine.  Reliability of the deal?  I'd put it at less than a 10-percent chance.

So the real rate of vaccination might be closer to 75-percent presently?  Maybe, but you can't say that with any reliability.

So all this political chaos and chatter over frustrations about the vaccinated and unvaccinated folks....might not amount to the drama being played out?  Well....yeah.

It is a bit funny if you think about it.  But it's best not to bring this up to Germans.
