Polling Chatter

Right now, the Merkel coalition and sixteen states are 'promising' NO shutdown for the fall period, based on all their restrictions and ban-rules in place.

So I noticed this morning via Focus, a brief piece written....where the polling group Forsa was asked to survey Germans on shutdown anticipation.  They asked just around 1,000 Germans their opinion.

Forty-one percent of the group said 'yeah, we expect another shutdown'.

My humble feeling?  Once the incident rate gets up over 100 (which I expect by mid-November)....bars, pubs, and restaurants will be put into a shut-down process.  The funny thing.....they had the regulations now set so that ONLY vaccinated folks could enter an indoor facility (like a pub).  So if they go this way....they are joking over their regulations.

How much hostility will be brewing with the pub/restaurant crowd?  Oh....that will be MASSIVE in nature.

But there's chatter today that a new incidence model is being developed, and maybe they can rig the numbers to stay down in the 30 to 50 range all winter.....just using new math/new gimmicks.
