Political Chatter

The Civey polling folks (a fairly large and reliable polling organization in Germany) went out and asked the question 'IF' you could replace the CDU Chancellor candidate (currently Laschet)....with Premier-President Soder (CSU, Bavaria)....how would you feel about it.

Seventy-percent of folks said 'yes'.

Disgruntled feelings over Laschet?  We are about six weeks out now from the federal election, and there is a negative trend going on.  Most polling groups are putting the CDU somewhere around 23-to-25 percent.  It's possible in the remaining weeks that they could lose another two-to-four points, and finish up in second place, with the lowest number of votes since WW II.

Could Laschet just drop out now, and get replaced by Soder?  No.  It'd probably be a unwise strategy to even consider that.

Things going great for the Greens?  Well....in urbanized areas, there are signs appearing that would be the typical color and scheme of the Green Party, but spouting the slogans: "Ecoterror" and "Climate-Socialism".

A number of folks who leaned toward the Green Party....have looked at the schemes and promises of the Greens.  The massive numbers they pulled six months ago?  Downward.....they will max out at around 19-to-20 percent in this election.

If you were looking for a clear mandate to come out of this election.....you are fooling yourself.  It'll be highly divided around the country.
