So there was this odd police raid on a Lidl grocery store down in Rosenheim (deep in the heart of Bavaria, maybe 30 minutes driving SE of Munich).
Trigger to raiding a grocery? Well....they brought in this new product. They had these new Cannabis THC/CBD products.
Legal? Well....that's the discussion....cops won't know the results of their seizure/test until next week.
N-TV told the story here in the AM today.
The curious thing is that you can walk into a grocery/drug store, and there's probably forty-odd items that you will come across where the label says hemp-related, or having some marginal amount of CBD in the product.....just enough to say it's got it, but not enough to really do much.
Six months ago, I was in some German grocery where they had a 'shot-glass' type breakfast drink with various herbs and it had the 'weed-symbol' to show some almost marginal content of cannabis (just enough to make you think you might be getting a cannabis health drink).
What I expect out of the raid? Some over-enthusiastic police who thought they have a case, and instead....you have some over-enthusiastic label designer who took a marginal legal product and tried to hype it into being a real CBD/THC product.
