I noticed this AM....someone on N-24 brought up an interesting topic. If you don't have adequate heating in the winter period....meaning you dropped the thermostat by five degrees (roughly 10.5 F degrees), then you invite more mold issues.
True or false?
This is a tricky question. Mold typically likes warmer temperatures....not colder ones.
But on the other hand....the cooler you keep the temperatures within the house....like on shelves, walls, floors, ceilings....water vapor stays there longer, and mold is more likely.
All of this likely leading people to be fearful of mold? Maybe.
