Last night, I watched a German business report. It was over a travel company....one boss....three salesmen, who do vacation arrangements in Africa (the safari and lodge deals).
In a normal year, they'd make 500k Euro profit. This year, since March, they've concluded one deal....2,400 Euro of profit. That's it. Two of the employees are on short-work....meaning they get 65-percent of their normal monthly check, and stay at home.
Dismal view of the future? The boss didn't see much changing for the remainder of 2020, and didn't say much for 2021.
This whole segment of the business society is teetering toward a major economic fall with the Covid-19 business.
