It was a short news piece but a wild radical idea....halting all advertising on TV for fast-food operations (yes, Burger King, McDonalds, etc).
It came from the Green Party.
To include sugar products as well? Well....yes. So cereal, sodas, chocolates, and chips would fall into this category.
Odds of occurring? I don't think the Greens will get enough votes to make this a serious 'threat' in the 2021 election. But from a long agenda position, I could see it happening in a decade.
