'Test-Shame'?

It was a short story over at ARD (German public TV, Channel One) which intrigued me this morning....over 'test-shame'.

What is 'test-shame'?

Well, it's a phrase that a Norwegian Health Minister (Høie) invented.

Because of testing rules in place in Norway now....with Covid-19 testing a constant thing.....anyone who tests positive, is then suggested to be devil-may-care or negligent in their sanitation habits.  In simple terms, they invited the virus upon themselves.

So, ridicule is dumped upon you....by peers.

What this probably will trigger?  People feeling sick and refusing to take the test....simply getting a doctor to sign off on a flu-slip.

You can already see conditions settling within Germany over people who leave the country, and Germans who remained (refusing to vacation outside of Germany) who feel the risk-takers are hurting society.  Test-shame coming to be a regular event?  It wouldn't surprise me.
