The Party Story

So, there was this party that developed out of thin air.

Most folks, who have attended college or done time in the military....will tell you that such parties aren't rocket science, and all it takes is one single guy with a 'theme' or basic idea, and four hours later....there's music, booze/beer, and people standing around in party-atmosphere.

This particular party?  Well, it was in Landshut (an hour NE of Munich)....a town of 70-odd thousand residents.

This was a unique party....because it started at a refugee center.  Yes, of all places....a facility with a number of refugees.

Police were called at some point by the folks who are supposed to run the facility.  You see....chaos was in the making....zero cooperation on Coivd-19 ban rules, distancing, etc.  I get the impression that the  party-planner never asked them for permission.

So the police arrived.  What they describe, via BR24.....is a scene of about 100 refugees....mostly all drunk.  This was last night (Saturday evening).

Someone from the group ended up with the 'blame', and got taken away.  I doubt if he really understood much of the rules or the Covid-19 threat.  Another guy had a serious reaction to the booze/beer, and in his case....he taken off in an ambulance.

The curious thing about this....if you read through the whole thing....at least twenty of the folks in the group were from other refugee centers, and there is this suggestion of 'shelters' in the city where people came from (indicating homeless Germans somewhere in the mix).

The bulk of this trouble?  Well, this gets into Covid-19 and the belief that drinking and lack of social distancing leads onto infections.  If you watch a bit of public forums....this topic has been 'hot' for the past month.

Did the party-planner in this case even think about Covid-19?  This is something that might be curious to ask the guy.  I'm guessing today (Sunday afternoon)....he's sitting there with a hangover and wondering how the cops got involved if no one was brawling, arguing or fighting.
