How Three Guys Were Cut From a Campaign Picture

Focus brought this up and one can have a laugh over this.

The Green Party is running a secondary campaign for the regional Berlin election.  So there was a picture moment that came up.....Annalena Baerbock (national Green Party candidate for Chancellor) is a key part of the picture.

The real picture taken....shows Baerbock, five other women from the regional Greens, and then on the left/right sides....three guys (all immigrants)....as key players in the Green Party local campaign.

Well...Focus pulls up the picture shown on Twitter/social media.  It's Baerbock and the five women....that's it.  The three guys? Cut out.

The words in the social media message?  Something to the effect that 'the old guys huddle around the CDU, we are new crowd'....leaving you to interpret the six-women picture as saying 'the women' are the future.

Why not include the three immigrant guys (who are fully integrated and employed/tax-payers)?  That's generally my thought.  Berlin, for better or worse is a multi-cultural city now.....why now show it in the image?

The other side of this media slant is that a fair number of Berlin residents are anti-migrant/anti-asylum, and at this junction of the campaign....the Greens need every message possible....even the misinformation type messages....to get voters out for their cause.

You can laugh over it, but that's the silly nature of the 2021 election theme.
