Yesterday, Berlin authorities closed their 'truth-commission' over the Christmas market terror attack from 2016.
Results? No shockers....no real surprises.
They do admit that the police are undermanned to handle the number of intensely suspected Jihadists in Germany. They also admit that immigration offices, federal police and public prosecutors don't talk much between themselves on cases where something clearly needs to occur.
Then they come to this topic of 'continued risk management'....where there just wasn't a complete picture shown because trends went 'up-and-down'.
End of the story? More or less.
If you read through the RBB (public TV of Berlin) story....it wasn't until the near-end of 2020....that the city authorities had a anti-terror 'plan'. It doesn't look like they had much of a plan prior to that point.
