My wife works for a German company across the river (beyond Wiesbaden). They had a fellow on Friday morning who was a bit 'under-the-weather'. By Friday afternoon....he left for a doctor's appointment. Yeah, they Covid-tested the guy, and Saturday morning....came to say he had Covid.
Company policy is that their group (15-odd people) have to all test if one single person is with Covid. They pay for the test.
Naturally, my wife got a bit peeved, but agreed today to be tested. We went to the local village 'trailer'...tested-up, and she was negative.
How many times this 'must-test' episode might come up? Statistically....it might be rare in the summer, but I would imagine it'll pop up at least once every two months as winter approaches.
