Beer Prices Escalate As Well

N-TV had a business update today....over German beer prices.

So, here's the bad news.....everything involving packaging, raw materials, the logistical cost of moving beer around....is all adding up.

If you did pricing over beer in the past month....it doesn't matter which German brew you check out....most all have risen a minimum of five-percent.  Where it's going in April/May?  A commerce association is suggesting another double-digit upgrade (probably toward 10-percent).

If this were to continue through all of 2022?  It wouldn't shock me if beer were around 30-percent higher in December, than what you paid here in early January.

Toward the early part of 2021....cheap beer (half-a-liter can of Astra) was still running around 65 to 75 Euro-cents.  Right now....a can (500 ml) of Astra will run you around .85 Euro-cents (on-sale occasions....near .79 Euro-cents).
