Focus did an interview with Rüdiger Maas today, which I thought was kinda interesting. His new book? "Generation unable to live - How our children are being robbed of their future".
So what they have....are studies to say one out of every four German kids are just generally unhappy. According to the data....things were bad before Covid came along, but it's grown to some degree in the past two years.
Part of the blame....he says....is over-protection by parents. He also mentions German kids have a harder time in building relationships.
My gut feeling? I think if you went to German adults (say 18 to 30) and did the same type measurements....you'd find that they are also in some unhappy state of mind...maybe even one out of four as well.
