It is a funny story....at least from my prospective.
Germans got all hyped-up over the past five years....about all-day day-care for kids. Politicians fell upon themselves....making it written in stone.
So there is a study talked about via N-TV this morning....with a Bertelsmann study done on the topic.
The bad news....there's supposed to be gov't provided all-day care existing by 2030 in Germany. Bertelsmann says 'no'.....not because of funding, but because there is a total lack of 'tens of thousands of educators and social workers in Germany' to fill the 'hole'.
To be readily honest....this type of profession just isn't a dream status job, and most Germans would have told you that back thirty years ago.
Convincing 17-year-olds today....to get into the apprentice work, and launch into the field? Don't count on this being an enticement.
But here's thing....probably half of the 25-to-35 year old German crowd is expecting this entitlement to occur.
