German 'Shower' Polilcy?

Well....this week, a suggestion was thrown out there by Habeck (Economics Minister for Germany, Green Party).

He suggested that people needed to adjust to shorter showers.  He then threw in this statistic....that two-thirds of Germans take a once-a-day shower (not sure where he got this data), and that most showers are presently 8 to 12 minutes.

ARD noted in a news piece....research is going on with some university...to produce a shower head that runs LESS water through.  I don't know why they have to do research....I've been on military deployments where the shower heads in the camps only put out a coffee cup of water every minute.

All of this is relation to the approaching natural gas crisis for the winter.

My humble belief is that by November....it'll be some national policy....to only shower every other day, and limit it to six minutes max.  Some will even come to suggest that couples bath in the shower together....to use even less heated water.

Yeah, it's bad when you get to a shower policy discussion.
