I sat and read over a piece from CNN this morning.....their journalist was all hyped up and talking that Chancellor Merkel knew a year ago (spring of 2016) that Trump would win the election, and that Merkel intentionally chose Hamburg as the site of the G-20 meeting....to embarrass him.
So, here is something to simply sit and think about.
The G-20 sites are typically selected about THREE years prior to the meeting. This is mostly because of the various security plans which have to be worked out, the logistics required, and the structural concepts.
So for the CNN story to be true.....Merkel would have had to know about the Trump 'win' back in the spring of 2014.
Did Merkel know about the impending Trump presidency all the way back to May/June of 2014? Is that possible?
Not to totally embarrass CNN....but they are on magnificent roll with screw-up after screw-up. The anti-Trump slant is reaching a point where they are willing to say stupid things....which have little basis on the level of truth.
The next G-20 meeting? Argentina.
The G-20 meeting for 2019? New Delhi.
The G-20 meeting for 2020? Set for Indonesia.
