Darmstadt set up a new Covid-rule deal for the downtown area....a 1 km by 1 km area.
In this zone....masks are required on the street...around the clock, period.
Smoking, drinking or eating while in this zone? Forbidden.
So if you lived in this area and were 'ordered' by your wife to smoke only out-of-doors....you might have to walk 100 meters, exiting the 'zone' before you could stand there without a mask, and smoke.
