Old World Solution

 It just begs the question...how they stumbled along to this idea.....who invented this, and how long this 'solution' was used before someone idiot said it was pretty stupid.

Also, who were the first one hundred drowning victims....who got the tobacco treatment, and one has to wonder if they were truly 'dead' in the first place.

I saw this on social media and pondered upon it for a while.

We seem to have advanced to some degree since the 1800s.

Note: this was only a Brit thing....Germans don't seem to have gotten into the 'discovery'.
