This morning (3rd consecutive day).....traffic was blocked around Berlin by youth environmentalists. RBB is a good reference point for the story.
Six 'kids' glued themselves to the pavement. Cops were dispatched, and 'unstuck' them...taking them into custody.
For a couple of months, this 'act' has been going on around Berlin. The group involved? 'Last Generation'.
I would suggest that patience is being tested, and most Berlin folks are finished with the delay business. But until judges and prosecutors get intense pressure....the acts will likely continue on.
If this were me? I'd bring them in, and say you are finished with school activities....'dumping' you out and handing you over to the local Job-Center. If they are under sixteen? I'd bring in the parents and ask how they manage the kid....if they can't seem to answer this....I'd remove the kid from the home and put them into a disciplinary situation....run by the regional authorities.
By the Constitution.....you have a right to protest....but this is only by requesting a route/time from the police and not aggravating public travel. They violate the intent of a basic freedom in a pretty harsh way.
